This was a quick read that hooked all of us in right from the start. Our book club loved the laugh out loud moments and witty banter between January and Gus. We also noticed how Emily Henry broke away from some of the traditional rom-com tropes, making the story line even more entertaining.

​​We were also partial to this book because of the setting being so close to home. Only a few hours away, each one of us have travelled around Northern Michigan and appreciated the descriptions of the beautiful landscape. It reminded us of the rugged terrain in Northern Ontario.
